Kelvin Kraft

Kelvin Kraft girls

Kelvin Kraft is the second income generation project supported by Kelvinside Academy where six KCH 18-year old girls are given a two-year skills training course in dress making.

The project is headed by a professional seamstress who trains the girls to make school uniforms, PE shorts and skirts and gingham school summer dresses. The uniforms go to Suswa Girls Rescue Centre and Mashimoni Squatters School, and are distributed to the children of KCH.

This income generating project not only creates funds for the home but teaches the girls employment skills which will allow them to achieve independent living.
